Honda fans in Pakistan may have something exciting to look forward to as the 7th-generation Honda City is reportedly expected to make its way to the local market soon.
The new City has attracted attention after a teaser linked to the upcoming Pakistan Auto Show 2026 appeared to show a rear-light design similar to the latest international Honda City. The auto show is scheduled to take place in Lahore, adding to speculation that Honda could showcase the new sedan.
The 7th-generation City features a more modern exterior, redesigned cabin and upgraded technology compared with the current model. International versions are offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, while equipment can include a larger infotainment screen, smartphone connectivity and improved safety features.
One of the biggest attractions is the possibility of bringing Honda Sensing, the company’s advanced driver-assistance technology, to Pakistani customers. However, the exact features and specifications of any Pakistan-spec model remain unknown.
Honda Atlas has not officially announced a launch date, price or booking schedule for the new generation. The company has also urged customers to rely on its official channels rather than social-media rumours.
If introduced, the new City could give Honda a stronger position in Pakistan’s competitive sedan market, where buyers increasingly expect modern styling, better technology and improved safety.
For now, Honda enthusiasts will have to wait for an official announcement to know whether the highly anticipated 7th-generation City will actually be launched in Pakistan and when it could reach showrooms.
