250 Pakistani Companies to Receive Visa Access from Egypt

by Mahnoor Arif

Pakistan and Egypt have agreed on a major step to strengthen trade and private-sector cooperation by offering easier and faster visa access to Pakistani companies. In the first phase, 250 Pakistani businesses will receive facilitated visa entry to Egypt.

This number will increase to 500 companies in the second phase, allowing smoother travel and better business opportunities between the two countries.

Officials from both sides believe this decision will help expand partnerships in key sectors such as textiles, information technology, energy, agriculture, and logistics. The goal is to make it easier for companies to meet, explore new projects, and build long-term business relationships.

To support these efforts, Pakistan and Egypt will also launch a new Pakistan–Egypt Business Council and a dedicated Business Forum in 2026. These platforms will help connect companies, arrange B2B meetings, and promote investment on both sides. Business leaders expect the council to create new opportunities for exporters, technology firms, and industrial groups.

The agreement reflects the growing economic ties between Pakistan and Egypt, as both countries look to increase trade and work together in different industries.

With simplified visa rules and upcoming business platforms, companies from both nations will have more chances to collaborate, share expertise, and expand into new markets.
