Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, presented civil awards to 47 outstanding scientists and engineers in a ceremony held at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi. Acting on behalf of the President of Pakistan, the CJCSC recognised their contributions to national development and security.
All awardees are associated with the National Command Authority, which plays a vital role in the country’s strategic and technological progress. The awards included 10 Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence), 21 President’s Awards for Pride of Performance, and 16 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence).
