All students and teachers at Cadet College Wana have been safely rescued as security forces continue their operation against terrorists who attacked the institution. The successful rescue operation has brought immense relief to the families and community members who were deeply concerned about the safety of their children.
Security sources have confirmed that three terrorists remain inside the college premises, but they are not located near the students’ residential block. This positioning allowed security forces to prioritize evacuating all students and staff members without putting them in immediate danger during the ongoing clearance operation.
The attack began when terrorists detonated a suicide explosion at the main entrance of the college. This initial blast injured 15 civilians and four security personnel, creating chaos and fear at the educational institution. The explosion was intended to create an entry point for the attackers to enter the college grounds.
Pakistan Army and security forces responded swiftly and professionally to the attack. They immediately engaged the attackers in an intense firefight, successfully neutralizing two terrorists during the initial exchange. Following this, they launched a comprehensive clearance operation to eliminate the remaining threat and secure the entire campus.
The operation has now entered its final phase as security forces work methodically to clear the remaining areas and eliminate the last three terrorists still hiding within the college premises. Professional tactics are being employed to ensure complete safety and minimize any potential risks.
Students who were rescued expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for protecting their right to education and maintaining peace. They strongly condemned the terrorists’ cowardly attempt to disrupt learning and spread fear among innocent students pursuing their studies.
