The Dubai Airshow 2025 delivered another memorable moment as Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel visited the Pakistan pavilion, where the JF-17 Thunder once again stood out as a major crowd-puller. The aircraft’s growing reputation for performance, affordability, and combat-proven capabilities attracted keen interest from across the region, this time, even from India.
According to officials at the pavilion, IAF officers took a special interest in the JF-17 and were seen capturing photos with the aircraft. Their presence quickly became a social media highlight, with images of Indian pilots posing alongside the jet spreading widely across X and Instagram.
Witnesses reported that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots greeted the visiting officers with warmth and hospitality. In a lighthearted moment, PAF officials offered them tea saying, “Let us make you some tea!”, a gesture that sparked friendly reactions online. The Indian officers, however, politely declined and asked for water instead.
The cordial exchange showcased a rare instance of professional camaraderie between the two air forces, despite ongoing political tensions. It also underscored the JF-17 Thunder’s strong presence at international exhibitions, where it continues to attract attention from air forces, defense analysts, and aviation enthusiasts worldwide.
As the images continue circulating online, the moment has been appreciated by many as a positive example of soft diplomacy and sportsmanship, played out in the middle of one of the world’s biggest aviation events.
