Libyan Man’s Strong Faith and Patience Help Him Reach Hajj After Facing Airport Struggles
A story of strong faith and determination has touched hearts across the Muslim world. A Libyan citizen, Amer Al-Mahdi Mansour Al-Gaddafi, recently experienced a series of surprising events that led to his successful journey to Hajj 2025.
Amer, a young man from Libya, was full of excitement as he arrived at the airport, ready to begin his spiritual journey. But things didn’t go as planned. At the immigration counter, officials stopped him because of his last name, “Al-Gaddafi,” which raised security concerns. While his case was being reviewed, the rest of his Hajj group boarded the plane and left. Amer, despite all his efforts, was left behind.
Even though he was sad, he didn’t lose hope. He said, “I will not leave this airport until I am on my way to Hajj, InshaAllah.”
Then something unexpected happened—the first miracle.
The same plane that had left with his group developed a technical problem and had to return to the airport. When the crew heard about Amer, they suggested letting him on board, but the pilot refused again.
Still, Amer waited patiently, believing that Allah would help him.
Soon after, another surprise occurred—the second miracle. The plane tried to take off again but once more had a fault mid-air and had to return. This time, the pilot had a change of heart. After hearing about Amer’s story and his unshakable patience, the pilot made an announcement:
“I swear, this aircraft will not take off again unless Amer Al-Gaddafi is on board.”
After this, the airport authorities quickly cleared Amer for travel. On the third try, with Amer finally on board, the plane took off smoothly without any problems.
This inspiring story has spread widely, showing the power of patience, prayer, and belief in Allah’s plans. Amer’s experience reminds us that even in the most difficult times, miracles can happen when we don’t give up.
