BYD has unveiled the Denza B8 and BYD Sealion 6 at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026 in Lahore, expanding its plug-in hybrid vehicle lineup in Pakistan. The three-day auto show is being held from September 18 to 20 at the Lahore Expo Centre.
The Denza B8 is a large premium plug-in hybrid SUV featuring four-wheel drive and BYD’s Blade Battery technology. It comes with a 36.864 kWh battery and has a claimed electric driving range of 115 kilometres under the NEDC testing cycle. The SUV produces up to 450 kW of power and 760 Nm of torque, with a claimed 0-to-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.8 seconds.
The B8 can accommodate six or seven passengers and offers features including Nappa leather seats, massage functions, a Devialet sound system, a refrigerator, a 17.3-inch central display and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Alongside the B8, BYD has showcased the five-seat Sealion 6. The plug-in hybrid crossover uses BYD’s Super DM-i technology and has an 18.3 kWh battery. Its reported electric range is up to 70 km under NEDC testing, while the claimed total range can reach up to 1,100 km, depending on the specification.
The Sealion 6 is planned to become BYD’s first locally assembled vehicle in Pakistan, with production targeted to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The introduction of both models highlights BYD’s growing focus on Pakistan’s new-energy vehicle market and gives local consumers more plug-in hybrid options.
