PTCL Group experienced significant growth in 2024, with its total revenue reaching Rs. 219.7 billion, marking a strong 17% increase compared to the previous year.
This impressive growth was mainly driven by higher demand for broadband services, mobile data usage, and business solutions. Ufone, PTCL’s mobile network operator, performed exceptionally well, recording a 25% increase in revenue. Meanwhile, U Microfinance Bank (U Bank) achieved a major milestone by being recognized as the Best Microfinance Bank for Islamic Retail Banking in Pakistan.
In addition to its strong financial performance, PTCL is also making progress on its acquisition of Telenor Pakistan. The deal is expected to be finalized by mid-2025, further strengthening PTCL’s position in the telecom industry.
