Affordable Now? Lucky Motor Reduces Prices of Peugeot 2008 Variants by Up to Rs. 1.3 Million

Lucky Motor Corporation has made the Peugeot 2008 more affordable in Pakistan. The company announced big price cuts of up to Rs. 1.3 million on its popular compact crossover SUV. This move aims to attract more buyers in the tough local car market.

The Peugeot 2008 Active variant now costs Rs. 5.799 million after a reduction of Rs. 1.2 million. The higher Allure variant saw a cut of Rs. 1.3 million, bringing its price down to around Rs. 6.499 million (from previous levels near Rs. 7.8 million). These new prices make the French SUV much more competitive.

The Peugeot 2008 is a stylish crossover with European design. It comes with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine that delivers 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It pairs with a smooth 6-speed automatic transmission. Drivers enjoy good fuel efficiency, often around 13-18 km/l in city and highway driving.

Key features include multiple airbags, climate control, a large touchscreen infotainment system, push-button start, driving modes, and stability control. The Allure trim adds extras like a panoramic sunroof, navigation, and more safety aids. Its compact size (about 4300mm long) makes it easy to drive in city traffic while offering decent boot space for family trips.

This price drop comes as car makers in Pakistan use discounts to boost sales amid high inflation and competition. The 2008 now fights better against rivals like MG ZS, Kia Stonic, Honda HR-V, and Toyota Raize. Many see it as an underrated choice with premium looks and feel at a lower cost.

Lucky Motor, which also brings Kia vehicles, continues to strengthen its position with this strategy. The reductions should help more Pakistani families enjoy the comfort and style of a European crossover.
