Atlas Honda has introduced an exchange program for old Honda CD 70 motorcycles, giving existing owners a simpler way to upgrade to a new CD 70 without first selling their used bike in the open market.
Under the offer, customers can take their old CD 70 to an authorised Atlas Honda 3S dealership, where the motorcycle will be inspected. The dealership will assess factors such as the bike’s model year, engine, frame, mechanical condition and overall appearance before deciding its exchange value.
The amount offered for the old motorcycle will then be adjusted against the price of a new Honda CD 70. This means customers only need to pay the remaining balance instead of arranging the full price of a new bike.
One important point for buyers is that Atlas Honda has not announced a fixed exchange price for old CD 70 motorcycles. The value can vary from one bike to another depending on its condition and other factors.
For example, if an old motorcycle is valued at Rs80,000 and the new CD 70 costs Rs159,900, the customer would theoretically pay Rs79,900 as the remaining amount, before any applicable registration or other charges. The actual exchange value and final cost will be decided by the dealership.
The offer could be particularly useful for owners whose older bikes have started requiring frequent repairs or have experienced declining performance. Instead of finding a private buyer, negotiating the price and handling a separate purchase, customers can complete the upgrade through the dealership.
Atlas Honda has previously described its 5S dealership concept as providing sales, service, spare parts and second-hand motorcycle exchange facilities under one roof.
Customers interested in the new exchange offer should visit or contact their nearest authorised Atlas Honda dealership to confirm eligibility, valuation, documentation and other terms before proceeding.
