Gold prices in Pakistan increased significantly on Thursday, May 21, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 5,000, reaching Rs. 475,362.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also jumped by Rs. 4,287 to Rs. 407,546.

Similarly, the rate of 22-karat gold increased by Rs. 3,930, now standing at Rs. 373,597.

This upward trend follows a rise in international gold prices, which gained $50 per ounce to settle at $4,530.

The sharp rise in local gold rates has affected jewellery markets across the country. Many customers planning to buy gold for Eid-ul-Adha or weddings are now closely monitoring the market. Analysts expect gold prices to remain volatile in the coming days, depending on global economic conditions.
