Pakistani mountaineer Salman Atique has achieved a historic feat by successfully summiting Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain at 8,848 meters. He became the 14th Pakistani to conquer Everest after reaching the summit on Thursday.
The Islamabad-based climber proudly raised the Pakistani flag at the top of the world. Salman was the only Pakistani among hundreds of climbers who received permits from Nepal this season. His successful ascent has brought great pride to the country and highlighted Pakistan’s growing strength in high-altitude mountaineering.
This achievement comes one year after Salman successfully climbed Mount Manaslu, another eight-thousander. His determination and skill have earned him widespread praise from adventure enthusiasts and the mountaineering community across Pakistan.
The day Salman reached the summit was also historic, as a record number of climbers made it to the top from the Nepal side.
Salman Atique’s success has inspired many young Pakistanis to dream big in the field of adventure sports. His achievement once again proves that Pakistani climbers are making their mark on the world’s most challenging mountains.
