Gold prices in Pakistan rose again on Monday as the rate of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 900 per tola, reaching Rs. 477,162 per tola. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs. 772, now standing at Rs. 409,089.

The surge in local gold prices follows an upward trend in international bullion markets. Experts say rising global uncertainty, stronger US dollar fluctuations, and continued demand for gold as a safe investment have pushed prices higher.

This latest increase has affected jewellery markets across major cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar. Many customers planning to buy gold for Eid-ul-Adha or weddings are closely watching the market. Jewellers reported mixed customer response, with some buyers waiting for prices to stabilize while others made purchases.

Market analysts believe gold prices may remain volatile in the coming days due to the unstable global economic situation. The price of silver also saw a minor increase.

Customers are advised to check the latest rates from trusted jewellers before making any big purchases. This continuous rise in gold prices reflects both local demand and international market trends.
