Could today’s young riders become tomorrow’s Tesla owners? Tesla has expanded its product lineup with a premium $225 Balance Bike for Kids, targeting children between 2 and 5 years old.
The pedal-free bike is designed to help young children develop balance and riding skills before moving on to traditional bicycles. It features a lightweight magnesium frame and an adjustable seat with five height settings, making it suitable for growing children.
Priced at $225, the Tesla-branded balance bike is positioned as a premium option compared with many entry-level children’s balance bikes. The product quickly attracted attention after appearing in Tesla’s online store and was reportedly sold out, with deliveries expected to begin later in August.
The new product is part of Tesla’s broader range of children’s merchandise, which includes miniature versions of its vehicles and other branded products. The company has previously offered a Cybertruck ride-on vehicle and a Cyberquad for children.
The launch has also sparked humorous reactions online, with some Tesla fans joking that the company is starting to build its future customer base from an early age. Others have pointed out the contrast between the new children’s bike and the long-awaited next-generation Roadster.
For now, Tesla’s latest two-wheeler is designed for children—not adults—but it could certainly be an early introduction to the Tesla brand for the company’s youngest fans.
