Balochistan has launched its first Entrepreneurship AI Lab for Women, a new initiative designed to support women through modern technology, digital skills, and business training. The project aims to help women become financially independent and take part in the growing digital economy.
The lab has been set up with the support of the Women Development Department and DOCH Private Limited. It will provide training in artificial intelligence, freelancing, online business, and basic entrepreneurship skills. Officials believe this will help women learn practical tools that can be used for income generation and long term career growth.
The program is focused on creating new opportunities for women in both urban and rural areas of Balochistan. By introducing technology-based learning, the initiative hopes to bridge the gap between traditional education and modern digital demands. Women will also be guided on how to start online businesses and work with global clients through freelancing platforms.
At the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Rubaba Khan Baloch highlighted the importance of empowering women through innovation. She said that women in Balochistan have strong talent and potential, but they need better access to skills and platforms that match today’s digital world.
The launch of this lab is being seen as an important step toward women empowerment in the province. It reflects a growing focus on technology, education, and entrepreneurship as key drivers of economic development in Pakistan.
