Muhammad Mohsin Khalid has become an inspiration for millions after securing the second position across Pakistan in the CSS 2025 examination, despite having 80% visual impairment since birth. His remarkable success shows that determination and hard work can overcome any difficulty.
Mohsin, who works as an Intelligence Officer in the Punjab Police Special Branch, was allocated to the prestigious Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). He stood second in the final merit list, just behind the topper, and became the first visually challenged candidate in Pakistan’s history to achieve such a high position and get selected for PAS.
Despite his congenital visual impairment caused by glaucoma, Mohsin never gave up on his dreams. He relied on screen readers, Braille materials, and voice assistance to prepare for one of Pakistan’s toughest exams. His dedication and consistent effort turned his challenge into a powerful success story.
