Pakistan’s affordable electric vehicle market is set to get two new additions as Nora NEO and Nora METRO are expected to launch soon with prices below Rs30 lakh.
According to recent reports, Nora plans to introduce both models in Pakistan as L7-category electric quadricycles. The company has told PakWheels that the vehicles will be priced below Rs3 million, although their final prices have not yet been announced.
The two EVs are larger than Nora’s existing electric vehicle. The METRO measures 3,900mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,800mm in height, while the NEO measures 3,300mm long, 1,600mm wide and 1,600mm high. Both models offer five doors and seating for four passengers.
Both vehicles are reported to feature a 23.1kWh LFP battery, 4kW rear-mounted motor and a claimed range of around 250–300 kilometres. Their maximum speed is reported at 70km/h, while charging is expected to take around six to eight hours.
The NEO and METRO were initially planned for presentation at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026 in Lahore, scheduled for September 18–20. However, shipping delays have affected the original plan, with the launch now tentatively expected around September 20 or later.
With both models targeting the sub-Rs30-lakh segment, they are likely to attract buyers considering affordable city vehicles, including those comparing options with the Suzuki Alto.
